Phone Photography with Emily Babcock

“The heart and mind are the true lens of the camera.”-

Yousuf Karsh

Photography has always been an exercise in mindfulness and gratitude for me. It gives me a chance to show the world my viewpoint, and helps me capture (and appreciate!) people/places/things in far greater detail, color, and depth. Even though I’m a professional photographer (and have a backpack full of expensive cameras, lenses, and equipment), I find that I use my phone more often than not to capture precious everyday moments. It’s something I always have in my back pocket (literally!) and after all, they say that the best camera is the one that you have with you, right? Well, I am here to help you make your phone photos look like professional photos!

Why work with Raendrop Art?

The Flints are dear family friends of ours and during Addy’s diagnoses and treatment we used our shared love of photography to process our emotions. Stacey used photography as a visual way to chart, document, and reflect on Addy’s journey. Having seen children and their families in truly dark places, I want to help them not only learn to express themselves through photography, but also bring focus to positive life experiences and help enhance their happiness and self worth.
