Raendrop Art uses boxed art projects to create a sense of stability and community for teens in the hospital. Raendrop Art was developed by Addy Flint, a 13 year-old cancer survivor with a passion for art. She utilized art therapy, art projects as her creative outlet while under going treatment. Addy saw first hand how the creative process can distract, inspire and heal.

Now, during COVID 19, medical treatments are more isolating than ever. Teens are at an important social development stage, when isolation can be especially difficult. Current COVID 19 hospital procedures limits visitors, art therapists and interaction to ensure the safety of patients. However, these practices isolate patients further, creating a frustrating environment for treatment.
