Make it stand out.

Laurel will walk the artist through creating a watercolor painting utilizing their Raendrop Art supplies. She will show how to utilize brush strokes to create definitions and shadow, provide tips and tricks for working with watercolor paint and share creative inspiration. At the end of this project you will be able to create unique greeting cards and paintings to share!

Laurel works primarily in watercolor and oil mediums, creating works that are recognizable in form and subject but expanded and reimagined to include looser interpretation in my watercolors and added texture and interest in my oils. Her paintings focus on societal creations, local architecture, matchbooks, more than nature as she finds the evidence of people, a white Kentucky fence, a fieldstone wall, makes a landscape infinitely more interesting.

Why work with Raendrop Art?

My youngest child has battled epilepsy most of his life, with numerous stays in the hospital. Watercolor painting kept me grounded and positive during some scary times and I am so happy to work with Raendrop Art to help provide a creative outlet for these teens
